11/12ths

we’re 11/12ths of the way there, brooke.  post #353.  we did it.  we’re doing it.  last year, starting a blog was something i thought i couldn’t handle.  and blogging daily was something i “knew” i couldn’t handle.

this year

has been chock-full of things i
{thought i}
couldn’t handle:

my never-ending back pain that turned out to be my gallbladder

my oldest child growing up way too fast

my {really long} first trimester

my second trimester

my {much shorter} third trimester:

driving to utah with 5 kids all by myself

driving to Arizona with those same children all by myself

being in arizona’s heat for 2 1/2 weeks

lice

coming home to seattle’s week-long  heat wave

calvin’s death

but i’m getting through it, one day at a time.  some days, just one minute at a time.

and so i say,

bring it on december!

{just kidding, december.  i don’t really want you to bring it on.  i’d really like a nice, relaxing break with my family.  we need it}

  2. What a journey. Probably a good thing you didn't know ALL of that was going to happen when you started. I just want to say 2 thumbs up on making it 11/12ths of your goal.

  6. You've had quite a year to say the least, Amy. Always surprising what we can do compared to what we think we can do, isn't it?
