nolan: mom, can i sleep in your bed tonight?
me: no, you’re too heavy for me to carry into your own bed after you fall asleep. and dad’s not going to be home to move you.
and then damon and i both left for different things. and when i came home, this is what was awaiting me IN MY BED:
such a thoughtful kid, that nolan.
never mind that when i woke him up to move beds, he wandered over to my window and stared blankly out of it for several minutes. and was completely disoriented and confused, and i practically had to carry him to his bed anyway.
it was the the thought that counted.
