pregnancy perks

  • my children are concerned about me and often ask me how i’m feeling and what they can get me
  • nobody knows how much of my tummy is really this pregnancy
  • i get to add another exemption to my 2009 taxes
  • i can justify my laziness
  • i don’t have to sign up as a walk-a-thon volunteer at the kids’ school next week:  my health is unpredictable.
  • salt and vinegar chips and gatorade:  no better combo [for now]
  • $8 for Red Mango frozen yogurt?   if it’ll make me feel better, who cares how much it costs?
  • teaching in RS?  can’t read, can’t concentrate,can’t do it; must delegate
  • sleeping in/staying in bed because i NEED to, not because i don’t want to get up.  {who believes that one?}
  • when else in my life do i get to go to bed at 8 o’clock- guilt-free?
  • kitchen?  what kitchen?
  • no fast sunday for me!
  • breakfast, lunch and dinner in bed

hey- this list is longer than i thought it would be.  maybe it’s not so bad.  i can do this…

  1. so, today, the glass is half-full? it's nice to take a look at the perks once in a while - it does make you feel much better. i especially liked the justification for red mango {which i still haven't had btw} because i do the same thing. also, thinking about delaying asher weaning just to keep the fast sunday perk myself =). hope you're really feeling better - and hurray that your kids are making it easier for you. mine are slowly adapting to that concept, but it's a long way off.
