Ray and Savannah were back at school today (after 3 weeks off). They both have school from 12:15 until 2:45 Tuesdays and Thursdays. I love this time to myself. I was warned by more than just a few people that this would be a sad time for me: sending my youngest off to school. It was not.
Anyway, I made a promise to myself that I would use this time for ME- and not get caught up with chores, grocery shopping, etc. Usually I’m really good about being selfish during this time, but today I knew I’d feel better about scrapbooking if my kitchen was clean and my floors were mopped.
Anyway, I made a promise to myself that I would use this time for ME- and not get caught up with chores, grocery shopping, etc. Usually I’m really good about being selfish during this time, but today I knew I’d feel better about scrapbooking if my kitchen was clean and my floors were mopped.
Before I knew it, my kitchen was spotless, including my floors, and I decided to tackle just one more thing: cleaning out the fridge.
One thing led to another, and I found myself cooking up 12 pounds of ground turkey
and grating 15 pounds of cheddar cheese so I could move them to my freezer.

Now, my kitchen was a mess again, my fridge was only partly cleaned out and it was 2:45… And thus my day has ended how it began: in a mess.
What would you title this post:
- And I promised myself I was only going to clean until my CD ended
- How I earned my blogging time tonight
- My name is Amy and I AM Nevada’s daughter
- Why you shouldn’t clean your fridge out before you clean your freezer
- Why pre-school should be longer than 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Why my chin might be sore tomorrow
