another day done

since i have spent most of my day on the phone trying to locate a fully smoke-free hotel in the las vegas area (i didn’t realize how privileged i was to live in a state where smoking has been all but banned in any public area, inside or out.  nevada does not value the non-smoker and i am beyond frustrated.  any suggestions las vegas go-ers?), and we are leaving to go see UP (finally) in a few minutes, i don’t have much time to blog.

this is what i’ve got for today’s entry:

i love ray’s newest trick using the netting.  i think he could have his own reality show.

  1. if you want a smoke free hotel, you have to stay away from the casino hotels. generally the marriott properties like you'd find in any other city are also smoke-free in Vegas. freshstay.com allows you to book from smoke-free hotels, also.
We liked staying in the JW Marriott which is in the Summerlin area. We would go to priceline and name our own price, but we'd select that we wanted a resort in the summerlin area, since we knew that it could only be that hotel. I don't know if that's still the case now, though.
