- preparing for a high tomorrow of 94. with no air conditioning.
I ate popsicles for dinner and we're going to try to find parking at Idylwood tomorrow - hopefully not in vain. Our little window AC is having problems. Awesome photo. :)
ReplyDeleteDo people in Washington just not have AC because you don't really need it, or is yours broken? I can't imagine not having it, but then again a day of 94 as the high is sometimes considered a break in the heat for us.
ReplyDeleteCome set up a lawn chair in our creek... That is what I have been doing...
ReplyDeleteHas Ray put that dog down at all since your last photo of him? Cute picture.
ReplyDeleteLove your new pictures in the heading! Did you go to the Redmond Town center movie/dinner theater...I'm curious if it's worth it myself...any comments?
ReplyDeletekim- although it's becoming more common, A/C is typically a luxury to have in washington. because you generally don't need it. there's is about 1 week every summer where i totally wish i had A/C, but other than that super hot week, i'm happy to not have the expense of A/C.
ReplyDeletejulie- yes, we went to the gold class at RTC. we had a gift card. i was really nice and especially great to be in the A/C, but i just can't fathom paying $50+ for movie tickets so i'm pretty sure we won't be going back. it was really nice and cool, though. the seats have foot rests and recline back completely and they provide blankets and soft drinks are free. but we spent $85 by the time we ordered food, bought our movie tickets, etc. that's a pretty hefty price for a movie date.
Sounds hot up there. ;)
ReplyDeleteHope cooler temps come your way soon. I just love you're new blog header and... what? Another great pic of the fam!
